Boat Tour to Murano, Burano & Torcello Islands

The island is also home to magnificent Gothic buildings, such as the Church of Santa Maria e San Donato and the Palazzo de Mula.

Next stop, the colourful island of Burano! On this island, all houses are brightly coloured, which, according to legend, helped local sailors to reach the mainland in times of bad weather. It's a very picturesque site which also houses a lace making workshop, operated by the women of the island.

The last of the three islands, Torcello, is probably the most tranquil of all three. Its architecture, which has not changed for centuries, gives the place an almost mystical appearance. The Basilica of the same name is known for its Byzantine mosaics and its mystery-filled crypt. A trip back in time that will end when you return to the bustling Lagoon City.
