When you set out to explore Casa Mila (La Pedrera), you will be entering into the magical world of Antoni Gaudí and will discover how the artist-architect was deeply inspired by nature to build this architectural wonder!

Casa Mila, popularly known as La Pedrera, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the celebrated architect's final project. This masterpiece inspired by nature is a unique building that is a testament to Gaudi's unlimited imagination.
La Pedrera is also the only Gaudí interpretation centre in Barcelona and an essential stop-off if you want to learn about the architect’s expansive legacy and his sources of inspiration. Let yourself be amazed by this unique place with a total surface area of 4,500 square metres divided across five floors.

Make sure to get your audio-guide so you can visit at your own pace all of Casa Mila’s wonders. There’s its iconic stone facade, a veritable architectural sculpture in itself, the iconic Roof of Warriors, a unique creation that defies classification, and the Whale Attic with its Gaudí exhibition.

There is also the Tenants’ Apartments, located on the fourth floor that retraces the life of a typical bourgeois family in Barcelona around the early twentieth century. You’ll also be visiting the Flower and Butterfly Courtyards as well as the Mila Family Apartment where the first owners of the building lived, and which now houses an exhibition hall. This was redecorated following Gaudí's death.
This space hosts art exhibitions organised at La Pedrera throughout the year. It cannot be visited however on days when the exhibitions are being set up or taken down.

Visit La Pedrera and discover magical spaces where nature, a major source of inspiration for Gaudi, can be felt permeating every corner of the building!
