Grand Canyon Helicopter Tour with Panoramic Drive to Hoover Dam

Your adventure begins at your hotel where a shuttle bus will pick you up to take you to the Hoover Dam. Your friendly, expert guide will be on board for the duration of the 45-minute journey during which you will cross the picturesque Mojave Desert. You will then arrive at the O'Callaghan-Tillman Bridge that overlooks the iconic Hoover Dam and Lake Mead behind while crossing over the Colorado River far below. There will be a stop here, so you can go for a short walk along the bridge and take in its spectacular views; in all, we’ll spend about 15 minutes here, the time to capture the moment and take lots of pictures!

After a short drive to our Outdoor Adventures base, you’ll hop aboard one of our state-of-the-art Sundance helicopters. Enjoy the music and the pilot’s in-flight commentary while flying over the Grand Canyon's main sights! Prepare yourself for an amazing experience as you overfly 32km of one of the seven natural wonders of the world with its rugged and inspiring landscape.

The Grand Canyon amazes not only for its immensity but also for its beautiful colour combinations and the unique shapes of its rich geological formations. (This feature measures 277 km long, up to 18 km wide and nearly 1 km deep!) On returning to the "Outdoor Adventures” base, you’ll sit down to a delicious meal before boarding your shuttle that will take you back to your hotel in Las Vegas.

Program summary:

• Las Vegas to Hoover Dam: about 45 minutes
• Hoover Dam/O'Callaghan-Tillman Bridge and photo session: approx. 20 minutes
• Hoover Dam to LVOA base (Las Vegas Outdoor Adventure): about 25 minutes
• Pre-flight safety briefing: 10 minutes
• LVOA Grand Canyon: about 25 minutes of flight time
• Flight back to LVOA base: another 25 minutes of flight time
• Return to your hotel by shuttle bus: about 1 hour depending on traffic

You’ll need to set aside a total of 5 to 6 hours to complete this adventure!
