    Come and spend the day exploring Versailles by bike, with its magnificent Palace and extensive gardens. Versailles, a town built during the reign of King Louis XIV, was the seat of political power from 1682 until 1789 before becoming the cradle of the French Revolution. Versailles has also played a considerable historical role on numerous occasions. The Treaty of Paris which ended the War of Independence was signed here in 1783. The Palace would be used again for the signing of the Treaty of Versailles at the end of the First World War. 
    Included in the visit is a skip the line ticket which simplifies enormously access to the Palace. With the help of the complementary audioguide, discover all of the Palace's historical and architectural secrets!

    You will be met by your guide at a pre-arranged location in Paris before setting off together for Versailles. Once on site, you will be provided with your bike which you will keep for the duration of the visit. There is no better means of transport for crossing the vast grounds of the Palace and exploring its many tracks and wooded paths. Getting to Versailles and the return to Paris are all included in the tour. First stop of the day will be the city market! After that, we will head to the Hameau de la Reine, or the Hamlet of Marie-Antoinette as well as a visit to the Small and Large Trianon. We well then follow the Grand Canal before finally arriving at the Palace of Versailles. Thanks to your skip the line ticket, you'll be able avoid the long queues and quickly access the Palace. Inside you'll be able to visit the royal apartments, the very famous Hall of Mirrors with its three hundred and fifty-seven mirrors, as well as all the many Palace rooms that are open to visitors. Spend the end of the day with a relaxing ride around the gardens of the King whose construction was supervised by André Le Nôtre, Louis XIV's main gardener. Return to Paris whenever you're ready, after this enriching visit back in time to when Kings and Queens still ruled the land.

    What a great summer day! We were taken care of from start to finish by our lovely guide, who showed us around Versailles. Biking wasn't too strenuous and was a great way to visit this place. Definitely worth the investment. Thanks!
