    The day of your tour, please be at the arranged meeting point 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time. Make sure to have your voucher handy. You should already have received this by email. Present your voucher (either printed or e-voucher) and prepare yourself for an amazing journey through the city of Florence!

    The tour starts at the Uffizi Gallery where your guide will explain everything you ever wanted to know and more about Italian Renaissance Art. Once inside the Gallery, you will get to explore such popular highlights as the Giotto Hall, the Michelangelo Hall, the Leonardo da Vinci Hall, the Caravaggio Hall, and the Botticelli Hall, this last being a large room displaying some of the greatest works by Sandro Botticelli including The Birth of Venus.

    Following your visit to the Uffizi Gallery, your walking tour of Florence starts. Your guide will take you to the city's most iconic sites such as the Piazza della Signoria, il Ponte Vecchio, the Piazza del Duomo ("Cathedral Square"), while providing a running commentary on the city's history and culture as well as pointing out the many elements of artistic expression that are found throughout the city. Your tour culminates at the Accademia Gallery, home to Michelangelo's iconic sculpture David. It also has other sculptures by Michelangelo and a large collection of paintings by Florentine artists, mostly from the period 1300-1600, including the Trecento (14th century) right up to the Late Renaissance.
