  • Description

For an ideal introduction to Abu Dhabi, the second-largest city and capital of the United Arab Emirates, hop aboard the Gray Line Bus for a tour of the Grand Mosque and the recently inaugurated Louvre Museum. Your experienced English-speaking guide will share with you interesting facts about the famous island of Abu Dhabi, including the origin of its name, which translates as “the Gazelle’s father”!
Your first stop will be at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, one of the most beautiful mosques in the world, that can accommodate an impressive 41,000 people at any one time! The exquisite white structure, entirely covered with marble, is the perfect setting for its intricate Islamic sculptures and extensive landscaping.

After this exciting experience, you will head on to Yas Island and “Ferrari World Abu Dhabi”, a huge Ferrari-themed indoor amusement park, before stopping at the “Yas Mall” shopping centre. You will have time to stroll through Abu Dhabi's largest shopping centre and get lunch there before continuing your journey. The rest of the visit takes place at the famous and impressive Saadiyat Island project, where the recently opened Louvre Museum and the still under construction Guggenheim both contribute to Abu Dhabi's growing image as the cultural centre of the UAE.

You will be dropped off at the Louvre for a 2-hour visit. In the late afternoon, you will jump back on the bus and return to Dubai via Yas Island which should take about 90 minutes.
