Together with your guide, enter into the heart of the magnificent Doge's Palace, a building that has hosted the successive rulers of the Republic of Venice for centuries. Prepare yourself for a trip back in time to better understand the history of the Lagoon City and appreciate all of its beauty.
Located at St. Mark's Square and just a few steps from the Basilica of the same name, the Doge's Palace is undoubtedly the most important building in the city. For many centuries, it was here that the judicial, legislative and executive powers were concentrated. The Doge of Venice, who ran the city, also had his residence there.
It's a central place that has stood the test of time, despite several successive fires at the end of the Middle Ages. Although the building that can be visited today has evolved considerably - from a fortress to a Gothic-inspired palace - its aura and importance have effortlessly survived the centuries.
With your guided-tour and skip-the-line ticket, you won't be wasting any time in the queues. Enter the Doge's Palace directly and start enjoying your visit straight away. Your guide will tell you all about the history of the site and its very particular architecture. Once the visit is over, your entrance ticket is also valid for visiting other emblematic monuments around St. Mark's Square.
