The MoMA first opened in 1929 to humble beginnings with only eight prints and a drawing. Today however, its collection includes more than 150,000 paintings, sculptures, drawings, prints, photographs, scale models, architectural drawings and design objects, not to mention almost 22,000 films and four million photos for you to feast your eyes on!

A small number of wheelchairs are available free of charge during your time at MoMA. If you need one, they are located in the control room in the main hall. Motorized wheelchairs are permitted.
