  • Description

Prepare yourself for a unique and unforgettable visit 20 meters underground and a world away from the hustle and bustle of everyday Paris above!
Originally, the catacombs of Paris were limestone quarries, used for the construction of the bridges and buildings of the city.
At the end of the 18th century, parts of these quarries became the 'municipal ossuary' of the capital as the bones from the largest cemetery in Paris were transferred here.
It took two years to transfer all the bones down to the now famous Catacombs.
Prepare yourself today for a trip like you've never seen before as you explore 3km of Paris' underground galleries!
Choose the date you want to do your visit and you'll receive your ticket on your email address.
