  • Description

On the day of your visit, please be at the meeting point 30 minutes before the tour's scheduled time. Present the voucher that you will have received by email to your guide. This is where your journey inside the world of Italian Renaissance art begins! Entry to the Uffizi is via the priority access entrance.

Once inside your guide will begin explaining everything you ever wanted to know and more about Italian Renaissance Art. Going from room to room, you will get to explore such popular highlights as the Giotto Hall that displays the most ancient paintings in the gallery and which is dedicated to Tuscan painters from the 13th and 14th centuries. Then there's the International Gothic Hall, the Michelangelo Hall, the Filippo Lippi Hall, the Leonardo da Vinci Hall, the Caravaggio Hall, and the Botticelli Hall which is a large room displaying some of the greatest works by Sandro Botticelli including The Birth of Venus and The Primavera. Following the Uffizi, it's on to another important museum: the Accademia Gallery, home to Michelangelo's iconic sculpture David.

It also has other sculptures by Michelangelo and a large collection of paintings by Florentine artists, mostly from the period 1300-1600, from the Trecento (14th century) up to the Late Renaissance. The combined Uffizi and Accademia Galleries tour is one of the best way to get a full understanding of the masterpieces on display in a city whose name is synonymous with artistic excellence!
