Discover the Eternal City with this full-day walking tour. The tour starts at the Colosseum and then makes its way to the Forum Romanum and the Palatine Hill (all with priority access). Your guide will then take you to the most iconic parts of the city and will show you its most famous monuments like the Trevi Fountain, the Piazza Navona, the Piazza di Spagna and the Pantheon. The tour starts at the Colosseum where your guide will explain all about this most historical symbol of Rome. Also known as the Flavian Amphitheatre, it is the largest of its kind in the world. After the Colosseum, it's on to the Forum Romanum (Roman Forum), a short 5-minute walk away, where you will get to see the city's most famous ruins. Then it's up to the Palatine Hill with its breathtaking views over the city. Don't forget that this tour includes a skip-the-line ticket with priority access so you will be able to avoid the long queues.
Following the visit to the Colosseum, Forum Romanum and Palatine Hill, your walking tour of Rome starts. Your guide will take you to the city's most iconic sites like the famous Spanish Steps that descend to the Fontana della Barcaccia. There will be a stop of course at the Trevi Fountain before visiting the Pantheon, the most ancient of Rome's temples that's still standing. You'll continue on to the Piazza Navona, one of the most famous piazzas of the Roman Baroque period and the site of the magnificent Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi (Fountain of the Four Rivers) by Gian Lorenzo Bernini. Along the way your guide will explain all about the city, its history and its culture, its lifestyle and its food and will take you to a typical gelateria where you will get the chance to taste some traditional Italian ice cream.
